The Neighborhood
Sarah Lane of Revision3 has a great video of the neighborhood. All the local eateries she mentions are a mere two or three blocks outside our door.
Dogpatch and Potrero Hill
Just For You Cafe [map from hatfactory] - shockingly good breakfast made by people who care about breakfast. Beignets and darling staff.
Farley's Coffee [map from hatfactory] - The best coffee shop in San Francisco, no wireless!!!!
Sundance Coffee [map from hatfactory] - staff smiles at you, and means it. Unfortunately, they have wireless, but don't hold it against them.
Eliza's [map from hatfactory]- Chinese can actually be really good, and inexpensive. $6 lunches are a deal.
Moshi Moshi [map from hatfactory] - Sushi, who doesn't love sushi? I've never been here, but I pass it on my way to Hat Factory and think "I need to eat there."
Hazel's Kitchen [map from hatfactory] - great place to grab a sandwich and some soup. only outdoor seating. yummy!
Goat Hill Pizza [map from hatfactory] - more of a cultural experience, than real dining, come hang out for 45 minutes Monday night to catch up on neighbourhood gossip before gorging yourself on all you can eat pizza delivered to your table non-stop slice at a time.
Hell's Angels - Most people don't want a biker club in the neighbourhood. But frequent raids by the FBI keep them in line and it's always good to have alternate negotiating partners when a business deal goes bad.
